DUMPLINGS 
2 c. flour
2 tbsp. shortening
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
Enough milk to make soft dough

Mix ingredients then roll out on floured surface. Cut in 1 to 1 1/2 inch squares. Drop in boiling 1/2 broth and 1/2 water. Boil 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
