BEEF TACOS 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. ground cumin
1 c. water
1/2 onion, chopped
10 taco shells (hard)
1/2 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
1 lg. or 2 sm. tomatoes, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
Salsa for top

Brown ground beef and onion, stirring often until onions are transparent and meat is lightly browned. Add spices and stir, then add water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a moderate boil and cook until water is ALMOST absorbed. Meat should not be allowed to get dry. Add water if needed. Serve with all other ingredients and let everyone make their own. Serves 6.
