YUM YUM SALAD | |
1 can crushed pineapple 3/4 c. white sugar 1/2 c. cold water 3/4 c. cream cheese Juice of 2 lemons 1 pkg. Knox gelatin 1/2 pt. whipping cream Heat sugar, lemon juice and pineapple. Soak gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water for 10 minutes. When pineapple, lemon juice and sugar are hot, add soaked gelatin. Let set until slightly thickened. Whip cream; fold in cheese and add or fold together with thickened pineapple mixture. Let set. Keep in refrigerator until ready to use. |
