FRESH PEACH PIE | |
1 c. flour 1/2 c. butter 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. sugar 1 c. mashed peaches 1/2 c. water 1 c. sugar 3 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tbsp. butter 1/4 tsp. salt 4 sliced peaches Mix flour, 1/2 cup butter, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 2 tablespoons sugar; pat into 9" pie tin. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Combine mashed peaches, water, 1 cup sugar and cornstarch; cook until thick. Add 1 tablespoon butter and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Cool well. Slice peaches into cooled crust and pour filling over. Serve with whipped cream. |
