RED HOT SALAD 
1/2 c. red hots
1 c. hot water
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1 pkg. lemon Jello

Melt red hots in water; add Jello and then applesauce. Put in 9x9 pan.

TOPPING:

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 1/2 c. celery
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. nuts

Soften cream cheese and then mix with mayonnaise; add chopped nuts and celery. Put over Jello after it has formed.
