SWEET AND SOUR FISH 
2 1/2 to 3 lbs. mackeral, pike or white fish, cut into 2 inch slices
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
1 onion, sliced
1 c. sugar
Salt
Allspice
1/2 lemon, sliced thin

Combine all ingredients, cook covered about 1/2 hour.
