CREAM CHEESE COOKIES (Spritz
Type)
 
1 c. Crisco
1 (3 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp. yolk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted flour

Cream shortening until fluffy. Work in cream cheese until blended. Add sugar; cream until smooth. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla. Add flour; blend well. Place in cookie press or cookie shooter. Press out onto baking sheet in desired shape. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 2 to 3 dozen small cookies. This recipe will remind you of something your grandmother used to make.
