D.'S CHEESE CAKE 
CRUST:

7 1/2 oz. vanilla wafer crumbs
5 1/2 chopped pecan pies
1 stick butter, melted

Pat into bottom of 10" springform pan or 9".

MIDDLE:

24 oz. (1 1/2 lbs.) cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix together middle ingredients, adding eggs one at a time. Pour over crust and bake 1 hour.

TOP:

1 pt. sour cream
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix together and pour over top of cheese cake and bake 15 to 25 minutes longer depending on how creamy you like it to be.

Refrigerate before cutting. Freezes beautifully.
