SZECHUAN PASTA 
1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots)
1 c. frozen peas
Thin spaghetti, vermicelli or thin egg noodles
1 clove minced garlic
Szechuan stir-fry sauce (Joyce Chen brand)
Cayenne pepper (hot)

Place frozen vegetables in colander to begin thawing. Cook pasta, enough to serve 4 to 6 people as a side dish. Pour boiling pasta water over vegetables; this drains pasta and leaves vegetables crispy cooked.

Place vegetables and pasta in a bowl. Add garlic; pour enough Szechuan sauce over vegetables and pasta to coat; stir. Add 5 to 6 shakes of cayenne pepper, to taste. Can be served hot or cold.
