KOLACHI 
1 pkg. Pillsbury hot roll mix
1 1/2 c. apricot preserves
Approximately 1/4 c. hot water
1 egg white, slightly beaten

Prepare hot roll mix dough per package directions for plain bread. After the first rising, punch the dough down, divide in half. On floured board, roll each ball out to make rectangles about 12x18 inches. Stir enough hot water into the preserves to make it easily spreadable. Spread half of the preserves onto each rectangle and roll each up like jelly rolls, starting with the long side. Seal edges and ends and place (not touching) side by side on large baking sheet.

Cover and let rise a second time. Brush with slightly beaten egg white and bake at 350 degrees about 40 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot or cold, buttered or plain. Other fillings: peach, poppy seed, dates, raisins, nuts and apples.
