APPLE CRISP 
1 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter
4 c. peeled and sliced tart apples

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put oats in bowl; add flour, salt, sugar and cinnamon. Blend in butter. Arrange apples in baking dish. Spread oatmeal mixture over this. Press down lightly. Bake 30 minutes.
