INDIAN FRY BREAD | |
2 c. flour 3/4 c. milk 3 tsp. baking powder 3/4 tsp. salt Mix ingredients together to form a soft dough. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let rest for 1 hour. Roll the dough out and cut in circles, handling as little as possible. You can also shape and flatten one circle at a time with your hand. Fry in deep fat until brown, turning once. Serve hot with honey. This is a traditional accompaniment to salmon. |
