1 lg. bag Oreo cookies, crushed fine blender or food processor
2 sm. boxes French or reg. vanilla instant pudding
1 c. powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 lg. (12 oz.) container Cool Whip

In a large bowl, mix the pudding, sugar, cream cheese, and Cool Whip. Slowly add 3 1/2 cups of milk. Beat until smooth. Line a new large clay or plastic flower pot (10 inch size) with foil. Place a layer of cookie crumbs in the bottom of the pot, then ladle a layer of pudding mixture. Alternate layers with cookies and pudding, ending with crumbled cookies on top.

Refrigerate the Dirt Cake about 2 hours, decorate with stemmed silk flower bunch. If preparing this cake for children, add gummy worms (gum drop consistency candy worms) to the dirt cake when preparing. Surprise your guests by serving Dirt Cake out of the flower pot with a new, scrubbed and scalded garden trowel.
