HAM TURNOVERS WITH CHEESE SAUCE
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
2 c. milk
1 tbsp. minced onion
2-3 c. cooked, slivered ham
1/2 tsp. salt, pepper and dry mustard
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Biscuit dough, using 2 1/4 cups flour (Bisquick) and 2/3 c. milk

Mix 2 1/4 cups Bisquick with 2/3 cup milk. Stir. Melt butter and blend in flour; gradually add cold milk and cook, stirring until thickened. Mix ham, onion, and 1/4 teaspoon each salt, pepper, and dry mustard with enough cooked mixture to hold together.

Roll out dough (on floured surface!) 12 x 10 inch rectangle. Spread with ham mixture. Sprinkle 3/4 cup cheese on top. Roll up as a jelly roll. Place seam side down on greased cookie sheet. Make 1 inch slits on top and bake in oven at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Add remaining cheese to the white sauce. Add remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt, pepper and dry mustard. Heat and serve on biscuits. Serves 6.
