CRISPY FRIED CHICKEN 
1 chicken, cut up
2 tbsp. melted shortening
2 tbsp. chicken broth
1 egg
Juice of 1 lemon
Rice Krispies crumbs

Combine egg, lemon juice, broth and shortening; mix well. Dip chicken into mixture, then roll pieces in crumbs. Refrigerate for 2 hours or longer. Bake in a well-greased shallow pan at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
