HOLIDAY CHEESE BALL 
2 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
1 (8.2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. chopped onion or chives
1/2 tsp. salt (can be omitted)

Soften cream cheese. Carefully stir in pineapple pecans, green pepper, onion, and salt. Chill. Form into 1 large or 2 smaller balls. If desired, reserve 1/2 cup pecans and roll the ball in pecans.
