1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. white vinegar
1/3 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cold water

Sift all dry ingredients together. Mix in wet ingredients until smooth. Grease and flour pan (angel food cake type pan) and put wax paper cut out on bottom. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Cool and frost with white frosting.
