WINTER PESTO 
6 tsp. dried basil
1/2 c. olive oil
3/4 c. ground walnuts
5-6 cloves garlic, crushed
3/4 c. Parmesan cheese (not fresh)

Soak basil and oil in skillet for 15 minutes. Add walnuts and saute 10 minutes. Add garlic and cheese. Toss with hot pasta. This can be stored in refrigerator until needed.
