GREEN BEAN SOUP 
2 lbs. fresh green beans
3 qts. water
Salt to taste
Minced onions (1/4 c.)
Pepper to taste
Cornstarch to thicken
Garlic salt to taste
1 pt. sour cream (lite if desired)

Clean and string beans and boil for 2 hours with other seasonings. Drain beans, save liquid. Thicken liquid with cornstarch and gradually add cooled liquid to sour cream mixture. Simmer for 5 minutes.
