ORANGE SLICE BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. cut orange candy slices

Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in remaining ingredients, spread in greased and floured 13"x9" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

ORANGE FROSTING:

2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. soft butter
1 tbsp. grated orange peel
2 tbsp. orange juice

Combine all ingredients. Beat until smooth and creamy, adding more orange juice if necessary.
