MICROWAVE CHEESY MEAT LOAF 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 egg
1 1/2 c. soft, fresh bread crumbs (I use Progresso in a can)
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. shredded American cheese
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Combine all ingredients in medium mixing bowl. Blend thoroughly. Spread mixture evenly in a glass loaf dish. Cover with wax paper. Microwave on High for 18 to 20 minutes or until center is no longer pink. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Makes 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
