CHERRY NUT BALLS 
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 c. coconut
1 stick butter
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. evaporated milk

Mix together.

Drain maraschino cherries on paper towels. Take one teaspoon of mixture - make thumbprint in middle - put cherry in hole - wrap mixture around - roll in crushed walnuts (approximately 2 cups). FREEZE until ready to serve. Makes approximately 30.

HINT: Separate cookie mixture into 2 bowls. Keep one in freezer until first bowl becomes unmanageable and then rotate. Great tasting crowd pleaser!! No baking!
