LAYERED SALAD 
1 head lettuce, broken into bite-sized pieces
1 cucumber, sliced thinly
1 purple onion, cut in rings
1 pkg. frozen English peas
Mayonnaise
1 wedge Romano cheese

In a glass salad bowl layer 3/4 head lettuce (broken into bite-sized pieces), cucumber, onion, and peas. Cover with remaining 1/4 heat of lettuce. On top of the lettuce, spread enough mayonnaise to completely cover the lettuce. Grate Romano cheese and sprinkle on top. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
