APPLE CRISP 
6 to 8 lg. apples
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon

TOPPING:

1 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter

Pare, core and slice apples in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Add sugar, cinnamon and sprinkle water over apples. Mix the flour and sugar together. Add softened butter. Mix together until moist crumbs form. Place on top of apple mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for about 50 to 60 minutes. Do not cover while warm or crumbs will become soggy.
