BLUEBERRY BUCKLE 
MAIN INGREDIENTS:

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. soft shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. blueberries, well drained

CRUMB MIXTURE:

1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. soft butter

Mix thoroughly sugar, shortening and egg. Stir in milk. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and stir in. Carefully blend in blueberries. Spread batter in greased and floured 9"x9" pan. Mix crumb mixture together (leave lumps) and sprinkle on top of batter. Bake at 375 degrees until wooden pick comes out clean, 45 to 50 minutes. Yield: about 9 servings.
