CHOCOLATE KRAUT CAKE 
2/3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. cocoa
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sauerkraut, rinsed and drained

Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add remaining ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in a greased and floured 9x13 inch pan. Cool and frost with Rocky Mountain Frosting.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN FROSTING:

2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
2 c. marshmallows
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Combine chocolate, 1 cup marshmallows, water and butter in saucepan. Heat over low heat stirring until blended. Cool slightly. Stir in remaining ingredients. Beat until thick.
