SALMON DROP CAKE | |
2 c. canned salmon, drained & flaked 1 sm. onion, chopped 1/2 c. cream 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. savory 3 eggs, separated Prepare the salmon, removing bones, add onion, moisten with as much of the cream as needed. Season with salt, pepper and savory. Stir in the yolks, beat whites stiff and fold in. Drop the mixture by spoonfuls on a hot griddle, buttered, cook on one side, turn and cook other side until golden brown. |
