CHICKEN CRESCENT SQUARES 
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 c. cooked chicken (white is best), cubed
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. onion (optional)
3/4 c. crushed seasoned croutons
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. milk
1 (8 oz.) can Pillsbury crescent rolls
1-2 tbsp. melted butter

Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Blend cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add chicken cubes, pepper, salt, milk, onion, and croutons; mix well. Separate rolls into 4 rectangles, seal perforations. Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture onto center of each rectangle. Fold over and seal edges.

Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with crushed croutons. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet sealed edges up, 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. Serves 2 to 3 people. Makes 4 squares.
