BARLEY CASSEROLE 
6 tbsp. butter
1 c. pearl barley
1 med. onion, minced
1 c. sliced raw mushrooms
3 c. boiling chicken bouillon

Saute barley, onion and mushrooms in butter, then add to boiling chicken bouillon. Cook, covered over lowest possible heat until barley is tender and has absorbed the consomme (25 to 35 minutes). Stir occasionally. Makes 6 servings.
