VINEGAR PIE CRUST 
2 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. vinegar
3 tbsp. cold water

Sift together flour and salt. Cut in shortening until mixture is about the size of small peas. Blend beaten egg, vinegar, and water together. Pour into flour mixture. Press into ball, divide into half. Makes two 9 inch pie shells.
