PINEAPPLE PECAN CAKE 
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 cup chopped pecans

In a mixing bowl, combine the first three ingredients. Mix well. Stir in eggs, pineapple and pecans. Pour into an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan.

Bake at 350°F for 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool.

Frosting:

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine all ingredients together. Beat until smooth. Frost the cake.
