FRESH CARROTS WITH BASIL 
1-2 lb. carrots, cleaned, scraped and cut into strips or rounds
1 tbsp. sugar
1 stick butter
Basil

Cook carrots until tender in sugar and enough water to cover; drain. While carrots are draining, melt butter in the pan. Return carrots to pan. Sprinkle with dried basil or fresh basil and stir well. Serve hot.
