FIG BARS 
3 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
8 oz. figs or 1 1/2 c. chopped figs
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat 3 eggs until light. Add 3/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla; mix well. Sift flour, salt, baking powder; add to eggs; mix. Fold in figs, nuts; mix well. Grease 9 inch square pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool; cut into squares. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
