TEA BISCUITS 
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2/3 c. water
1 egg

Mix together first 4 ingredients. Work in with hands 1/2 cup shortening. Beat the egg with a beater. Add the egg and water mixture to the dry ingredients. Mix with a fork. Drop by spoonfuls in ungreased muffin pans. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
