2 c. diluted water
4 c. sugar
2 oz. instant coffee
2 c. whiskey or vodka or brandy
1 vanilla bean, cut in half lengthwise

Boil water, sugar, and coffee together. Let cool completely. Add remaining items. Store for 1 month before serving.
