COTTONTAIL PUFFS 
1 egg (separate yolk from white)
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
1 1/4 c. sifted flour
2 tbsp. milk
3/4 c. nuts, finely chopped

1. With electric mixer beat the butter, sugar, almond extract and egg yolk.

2. Gradually add the flour and milk. Still beating the mixture, until it is a stiff dough.

3. With your hands make small balls of the dough and place on a cookie sheet.

4. Beat the egg white until stiff and brush a little on each puff. Then sprinkle with nuts and bake in 400 degree oven for 12 minutes.
