ITALIAN RICE PIE 
CRUST:

1/2 c. Crisco
8 tbsp. sugar
4 eggs
About 2 c. flour

FILLING:

1 c. cooked rice
1 qt. milk
1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. citron (optional)

Mix crust ingredients. Roll out; place into pie pan. Mix together remaining ingredients and pour into shell. Bake in slow 300 degree oven about 1 hour or until done.
