HAMBURGER PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
3/4 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 (1 lb.) can cut green beans, drained
1 c. condensed tomato soup
5 med. potatoes, cooked
1/2 c. warm milk
1 beaten egg

Lightly brown meat; add onion; cook until just tender. Add seasonings, beans, and soup; pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Mash hot potatoes; add milk and egg. Season. Drop in mounds over meat. If desired, sprinkle with 1/2 cup shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
