SWEDISH DRIED FRUIT SOUP 
1 c. raisins
1 c. pitted prunes
1/4 c. dried apricots
1/2 c. dried apples

Snip apricots and apples in small pieces. Soak all the fruit overnight in 6 cups water. Next day, cook fruit in same water until tender.

Mix 1 2/3 cups sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 6 tablespoons cornstarch with about 3/4 cup cold water. Stir until smooth. Add 1 cup boiling water. Stir into fruit. Bring to a boil. Cook until thick and clear. Serve hot or cold.
