GARY'S GARDEN SALSA 
1 qt. chopped tomatoes, preferably Romas
2 tbsp. basil
1/4 c. fresh, minced parsley
1/4 c. red wine
1/4 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 1/2 c. chopped onions
2 tbsp. fresh, chopped garlic
1/3 c. chopped jalapeno peppers
3/4 c. chopped banana peppers

Cook chopped tomatoes. If not using Roma tomatoes, skim half of liquid away. Add all other ingredients and cook until vegetables are soft. This can be simmered for 30 to 45 minutes.
