CRANBERRY NUT BREAD | |
2 c. all purpose flour 3/4 c. sugar 1 tbsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 1 c. chopped nuts 1 egg 1 c. cranberry sauce 2 tbsp. melted butter Sift together first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl, stir in nuts. Beat egg in a large mixing bowl until blended; add cranberry sauce and melted butter, mixing well. Stir in dry ingredients, just until moistened. Pour into a greased and floured 9"x5"x3" loaf pan or 2 (7" x 3 1/2" x 2") loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let cool in pan tilted on the side, on a wire rack. |
