GROUND BEEF BARBEQUE 
1 tbsp. shortening
3 tbsp. onions, diced
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. hot water
1/2 c. chili sauce
1 tbsp. reg. mustard
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. flour, dissolved in 1/4 c. cold water

Melt shortening. Add onions and ground beef; mix and brown. Add hot water and flour and water mixture. Stir until thickened. Add chili sauce, mustard, and heat. Add chili powder. Serve on toasted hamburger roll or rice. Serves 6. Freezes well.
