GOULASH 
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 of a med. onion, chopped

Brown above and drain the grease. Add:

1 lb. can stewed tomatoes, blended in blender
1 lb. can tomato sauce
Garlic powder, salt & pepper (to taste)

Let simmer on low heat while cooking macaroni. In a large pan bring to boil 1 1/2 quarts water and about 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add about 1/2 of a medium package of macaroni (elbow). Let it come to a boil again, cover, set off heat. Let stand for 5 minutes. Drain and add to hamburger. Simmer for 10 minutes or until macaroni turns red.
