TAFFY APPLE SALAD 
4 c. Granny Smith apples
1/4 c. sugar
8 oz. Cool whip
1 tsp. flour
1 beaten egg
2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
8 oz. crushed pineapple, drain well
1 c. salted peanuts, chopped

Drain pineapple thoroughly (save juice). Cook juice with flour, sugar, egg and vinegar. Cook until it thickens. Cool thoroughly. Mix with iced apples. Then add Cool Whip and 3/4 cup peanuts. Put remaining 1/4 cup peanuts on top for looks.
