TWIN MOUNTAIN MUFFIN | |
1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. sugar 4 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 beaten egg 1 c. milk 2 c. flour Cream the butter until light. Add sugar and continue creaming. Add beaten egg. Sift flour; measure. Add baking powder and salt; sift again. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Put mixture in bowl. Mix well, but do not beat. Put in greased muffin tins filling 1/2-2/3 full. Bake 20-25 minutes in a 425 degree oven. Makes about 1 dozen. |
