STIR FRIED CHINESE CELERY
CABBAGE
 
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 slice fresh ginger root
1 lb. Chinese cabbage
3 stalks celery
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
3 tbsp. chicken broth (more if desired)

Pour oil into wok or large skillet. Add ginger root and brown. Discard. Cut cabbage diagonally in 1/4 inch slices. Cut celery the same. Stir fry this in oil for 3 or 4 minutes. Add salt, sugar and broth. cover and simmer for 1 to 2 minutes. Serve at once. This goes well with fried rice or any meal.
