HUSBAND'S CAKE 
3/4 c. shortening
1 can tomato soup
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
3 c. flour, sifted
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained

Cream shortening and sugar. Combine with soup, water and soda. Sift together flour, baking powder, spices and salt. Add soup mixture alternately with dry ingredients. Fold in raisins, nuts and pineapple. Pour into a 9 inch or 10 inch tube pan. Grease and flour. Bake at 350 degrees about 70 minutes. Serve as is or with a cream cheese icing.
