PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 yellow or angel food cake mix, prepared
1 lg. instant vanilla pudding, prepared
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained
2 cans cherry pie filling
2 lg. tubs Cool Whip

In a punch bowl or large decorative bowl, layer the following: half of the prepared cake, broken up into pieces; half of the prepared pudding; half of the pineapple, 1 can cherry pie filling and 1 tub Cool Whip. Repeat the process.

Other filling suggestions are strawberries, blueberries, Butterfinger candy bars, crushed. When using the Butterfingers, save some to sprinkle on the top layer. Also crushed pecans is optional for the top layer.
