COLCANNON 
2 c. shredded cabbage
4 servings instant potato flakes prepared or real potatoes mashed
6 green onions, chopped
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1/8 tsp. white pepper

Cook cabbage in a little salted water in covered saucepan 5 minutes; drain well. Prepare potatoes as per package directions, then add drained cabbage, onions, butter, parsley flakes and pepper. Warm over very low heat, stirring frequently. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
