HARVEY HOUSE SLAW 
1 lg. or 2 sm. heads green cabbage, grated
2 Bermuda onions, finely chopped
1 green pepper, finely chopped

Use large bowl that can be sealed. Put in 1 layer of cabbage, 1 layer of onion and green pepper. Repeat until all is used. Pour 2 cups sugar over cabbage.

DRESSING:

1 tsp. and 1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. vinegar
3/4 c. Crisco oil
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. salt

Pour over cabbage. Do not stir. Seal tight. Refrigerate 4 hours and stir.
